That's a difficult one to buy for many reasons. You're telling me our forwards have never been asked to defend, have never been able to go a full 90. These are also friendlies where he is supposedly trying players, letting them prove themselves, having them learn what he expects . . . so how about three or four forwards. We've got Josy, Buddle, Findley, Juan, Bunbury, Wondo, Sapong, and many more that are worth a look.
It seems he is constantly condescending about our talent. I know it's not the level of Spain, Germany, Holland, etc but there are plenty of teams we have to play in important matches that we are better than. Can we not do a 4-3-3 against them?
